OOTD

Winter is definately round the corner...its chilly!!!
Now you guys know that being a student I cant afford to buy expensive clothes, and I <3 a bargain.
This is why I love Tesco clothes :)

Almost every day I wear something from Tesco, their clothing is good quality, affordable and stylish.
My friends make fun of me, but I honestly dont care, if you like something and it looks good why should it matter where its from?

This is what I wore to Uni today:
Outfit:
Boots: Matalan
Leggings: Tesco
Jumper Dress: Primark
Cardigan: New Look
Faux Fur Gilet: TK Maxx
Makeup: Rimmel (see previous post)

These Leggings are BEAUtiful! :) £3 from Tesco. I get bored wearing plain black leggings or jeggings and these allow me to mix it up a bit..................I think i might be in love <3

Rimmel Lasting Finish Lipstick Review :)

Hi Guys,
I was VERY excited to recieve this little beauty in the post yesterday :)
My bestie soph (owner of Style by Sophia) was sent these products to review by Rimmel London, but they arent really shades/colours shed usually wear, and being the lovely person she is, she sent them on to me, cos she new theyd be right up my street. :)

Lets start with the Colour Rush Duo Eyeshadow.

This one is Soft Glam (601).
I Love the Blue, it brings out the blue in my eyes :)

I have to say I was very impressed, usually when I wear eyeshadow, by the end of the day its all creased, but this has stayed in place perfectly, and the colours still as vibrant as when I put it on this morning :)

It comes in 7 shades, all of which look yummy :) Ive got my eye on Walnut Pearls...you can check it out

Oooh by the way, just so you know, this is the other makeup Im wearing:

Soph used to be an AVON rep, so I bought loooads of makeup from her. Blusher: AVON, Supershock Mascara: AVON, Colour adapt Foundation: Maxfactor, Eyeliner: AVON, Hide the Blemish Concealer: Rimmel.

Now for the Lippies:

They are the NEW LASTING FINISH LIPSTICKS!!!!!
The 2 shades I recieved were, Amethyst Shimmer (084) and Firecracker (214)
This is Amethyst Shimmer:

Very Cute colour, I wore it to Uni today, and had a couple of compliments on it :) I know its quite hard to distinguish the colour from a photo, but its a plumy purpley colour with little flecks of sparkle.

Another thing I must mention about these lippies is the SMELL.......divine. Its fruity and girlie.
On Rimmels website they say that the the Lasting finish Lipsticks have up to 8 hours staying power, with 25% more colour impact.
Well the colour impact is definately true, it makes your lips POP!!! As i said I wore Amethyst Sparkle to uni today, and it did last well, but by the time I got home this afternoon (5 hours later) it had almost all worn off. To be fair though I had had 2 cans of Rebull and eaten Lunch :/ So Id stay it did stay on well seeing as I didnt top it up all day.

This is the Firecracker Shade:

This one is my fave :)
A coral/orangey shade. I love <3

Ive been a fan of Rimmel for years, their Hide the Blemish Concealer has been a makeup essential for me for ages, it covers any dark circles or blemishes that pop up. And all Rimmel products are affordable the concealer for example is only £4.29 from Superdrug.

Overall I think these Lipsticks are VERY impressive. The colour is so strong, and the sparkles make your lips shine. The other amazing thing is that they make your lips feel really smooth. Some lipsticks can really dry out my lips, but these made my lips feel really hydrated...Bonus!

They are launching this month, so get urself down to the shops n grab yourself one, they come in 20 shades, so your bound to find your perfect one. Find out more from Rimmels website.

The weekends antics

Ive spent the weekend at home, and its been brilliant. I LOVE being at home!! Even though I havnt really done anything except see a few friends and just chill with my family.

This is what ive been wearing this weekend.

Metal Ring Dress: ASOS, Leggings: Peacocks, Nude Cardigan: Dorothy Perkins, Pearls: Lanes in Brighton

Leggings: Topshop, Floral Dress: QS, Waisted Belt: Matalan (i think).

Leggings: Peacocks, T-Shirt Dress: ASOS, Studded Brown Belt: Matalan, Blazer: Primark (they are brilliant, I have one in every colour!!) Pearls: Lanes in Brighton.

Ive had my nails done this weekend aswell!
Im still getting used to them, but as a serial nail biter (bad i know :S) I think they might possibly make them grow long enough so that I dont bite them. They were only £20, my local nail salon were doing a deal on gel nails! :D
I went with my friend flo, and it was a lovely girlie afternoon :)

Anyways, Ive got to go and do some more reading for my dissertation, boohoo :(

Hometimeeee

I went home for the weekend yesterday, Im soooo happy to be back. I had a lecture before hand, and it seemed to drag on for hours cos I just wanted to get in my car and go home. Im making cupcakes today for my nan who isnt very well, and tomorrow Im going to get my gel nails done!! :)

This is what I word to my lecture and then to drive home:
Boots: Simply Be, Grey Socks: Primark, Leggings: Topshop, Black T-Shirt Dress: Sainsburys, Jumper: Tesco.

When I got to lecture my friend Mutton very kindly gave me some Silly Bandz, our friend Amy has just come back from a summer in America, and she bought loads of them back. They are soooo cool. They are little rubber bracelets in different colours, that when you take them off your wrists they spring into different shapes. The ones I had were dinosaurs and cars, so cute :)
Look how cute they are. Apparently they are massive in America, you can get them in loads of different styles and colours. So you heard it hear first people!!

ASOS Delivery & Primark Bargains

My ASOS Delivery came today :)
Im not sure about some of the bits, so I will probably send some back, but a couple of bits were nice. I also went 2 town with my flatmate and a friend today, and spend £80 in Primark....but then felt guilty and took back £30 of stuff, damn being a student :(

So anyway, heres what I wore today:
Pumps: Primark, Khaki Trousers: Tesco, Black Vest Top: Dorothy Perkins, Nude Cardigan: Dorothy Perkins, Pearl Necklace: Lanes in Brighton

Round up of my ASOS delivery:

Cowl Front Dress: I love the colour, and its quite flattering, so for £11 I think its a really good buy. The material feels quite luxurious aswell, the only issue is that theres a large vertical split down the back, which exposes your bra strap :S oh well, I will wear a cardi!

I really like this dress, I know its kinda hard to tell, but there are tiny metal rings stitched all over the front, its also nice and long, I find it really hard to find things long enough for me cos im like 5 foot 11.

Love the playsuit too :) Will be debuting this on a night out soon....

Now this Jumpsuit Im really not sure about :S I kind of think it makes me look like im in my PJ's??
What do you think??
Maybe if i teamed it with a chunky belt or something??

Primark Puchases:

I also bought this:

Ive wanted grey nail varnish for ages, and there was some in the ASOS order that got lost....still havnt got over that btw :(, But I want to grow my nails, and I think if theyre painted then im less likely to bite them :S

Tesco Bargains and Fashion Heros!

I went food shopping with my flat mate earlier.......well it was supposed to be food shopping, I got very distacted by the clothes in Tesco :S
These are a few bits and bobs I bought, I got some major bargains in the sale!

Camo Leggings: £3 (Sale)

Cowl Neck Fringed Jumper: £14

Khaki Leggings: £3 (Sale)

Its really hard to tell from this photo, but at the botton of the jumper type material, theres a really cute leopard print ruffled skirt.
Leopard Print Skirted Jumper: £16

I also tried on both my ASOS pieces that came this morning:

Heres the Slash Sleeve Top, again hard to tell from this photo, but its a pale pink/nude colour.

This has never been the most flattering colour on me. I think I will keep it a couple of days and see if the colour grows on me. I do however love the slash detail on the arm.  And teamed with a belt I think its nice.

This is the Waterfall Bandeau Dress:

Im still LOVING the khaki {as you can tell from pretty much all of my above purchases :S). But seriously, this dress is brilliant! ASOS Curve youve done it again!! The ruching hides any lumps and bumps you could ever possibly want hidden, and the ruffle down the side is just so cute. I dont generally wear strapless dresses because I have really big boobs, and it tends to accentuate them, but I tried it on with a strapless bra and it actually look good :)

What do you think about my purchases??

I think part of the reason Im still in love with Khaki is because one of my most loved style/life influences Khloe Kardashian wears quite a lot of it. My friend Soph, {read her blog here} got me hooked on Keeping Up with the Kardashians over the summer, and from the moment I first saw her, I just loved her. Shes BEAutiful :)

FIERCE!!!!!

All in all quite a good day, now all Im waiting for my other ASOS package to come (should be here before friday) because it has the beautiful playsuit in :D!!
Im off to bed in a minute because I didnt get to sleep until 3am and I had to be up at 7 this morning :S, however I get a lie in tomorrow, and then a lovely trip to Primark with my friend Mutton :)
Night guys

Early Morning Fun & Fringe

I had a really vivid flashback to a textiles class in secondary school the other day, and remebered about customising our own t-shirts so i thought id have another go, so off I trotted to Primark, and bought 2 plain mens t-shirts (£2 each) and had a go.
I bleach painted on one, very easy just shove sum bleach in an old mug or a washed out can, put a little bit of water in it and then just go ahead and paint anything you want on ur t-shirt. Dont forget to put a bit of cardboard in the middle of the tee so ur design doesnt print onto the other side.

The second one i fringed.
Again, this is piss easy. Just cut up from the bottom of the tee in strips, carry on until youve done all the way round, then tie the ends in knots. Im really pleased with this actually, I wore it to Uni 2day over a long sleeved black t-shirt. (excuse the messy hair, this was approximately 8am)
Boots: Matalan, Leggings: Topshop, Black and Grey Skirt: Tesco, Black Long Sleeve Top: BHS, Fringed Purple Top: Originally from Primark, customized my me!!

And this is what I wore to Uni yesterday (i temporarily lost my camera cable in the rubbish tip that is my bedroom :S)

Boots: Simply Be, Long Socks: Primark, Leggings: New Look, Dress: Miss Selfridge, Cardigan: Dorothy Perkins, Scarf: Primark, Coat: Matalan.

I LOVE this coat <3
Im pretty sure it was only £15!! I needed a new coat for this winter, Ive had my old one for about 2 years and its gettin pretty big on me now, and I saw this one and HAD to have it. The colour is amazing, its even more vibrant in real life. This will come in very handy when it gets a bit nippier :)

Yummy :)

Some bad news now.....after waiting an extra 8 days for my ASOS order, i got an email saying that my parcel had been lost!! *sob*. Because half the stuff id ordered was in the sale, its all out of stock now so no new nail polishes or makeup for me :( I was soooo upset when I got this email I could have cried. However ASOS did send out another order of the 2 things that were still in stock very speedily, and these 2 pieces arrived this morning!

Even though Im so upset about my first order being lost, I really like the waterfall dress!! :) I will do a post later when Ive been to the shop to get some batteries for the old camera!
